I highly suggest full-viewing this, seeing as the thumbnail is freakishly small. (The image is considerably wider than the thumbnail constraints.)

Wow...started this one almost a month ago (working on it off and on) as a spur of the moment thing and it came out a little more complex than my usual fanart. I would have gotten even more detailed with it, but I just got burnt out (as seems to be the usual trend =_= ).

Shikamaru is another one of those characters that I just couldn't avoid doing fanart of. I feel like I can relate to him in terms of laziness and the desire to just live life as simply and uneventfully as possible.

Ohhh, those deer are pretty T__T I adore the background, the colors and grass and amazing detail on all those deer. The tree is also great, and I love the skyline...he himself is good too XD His expression is perfect, and I love the skintoning and how you drew his hands. I really love his feet too, and the proportion style...it's awesome. Great job in every aspect.

You know, this piece of fanart was a journey of self discovery from which I learned two things:

1. I hate rendering grass.
2. I hate drawing deer.

Backgrounds are such a pain in the butt, but I guess it's worth it in the end. >_0
